Vocabulary is an essential element in any language learning. More vocabulary acquisition always help you improve your language of which is either your native mother language or secondary language. Natural language development starts with meta-linguistics in the brain from the new born with sound acquisition to make up for the meaning. However, secondary language learners start the meta-linguistics process with cognitive and voluntary engagement. Each vocabulary has to be delivered by its meaning in the txt and sound together, thus building from the reference of the naive language as a platform.

Vocabulary learning in random mixture of list is the worst way to learn. Utilizing the association and relations is the most effective to acquire and retain the vocabulary as data. Visualization is one of the association technique in learning new vocabulary for both native or secondary language learners.

More evolving idea is to expand and extend the vocabulary from single source of data or word like a tree which grows and branches out from one root. Structural component is also a good starting ground for the same methodology such as root, prefix, or suffix where you can expand and extent base meaning to apply to the other words while sharing the same meaning.

English language shares more than 200 roots, prefixes, and suffixes. These are great grounds to start your vocabulary expansion and extension to many thousands of words.
